--> Read Sky's First
With a nod, `Zona pretended to weigh this into her opinion. Making her comment, she waited for her friend's responses. Zona who'd want her back? Looking over at Tuna, she nodded, My point proven. She said with a laugh. I dunno...you've gotta point. Hold up, Queen Bitch's daddy would prob'ly pay a lot more 'an just 5k to get 'my baby girl whom I love with all of my heart' back. She nodded at Sky this time, thinking of some way that they could get at least some profit out of this...and not get arrested. She went along with most of Sky's plans, even came up with a few of her own, but, if things got a little too....illegal, she tried to stop it, or at least tone it down or figure out a way to make it less...illegal. With a laugh, she watched as Sky rolled her eyes and continued. He's got more money 'an sense. She ran her hand through her hair at this one, she was used to that kind of environment at times, back when she was forced to go home during the summers, she'd drag Sky along at least. But, seeing as her family owned a good portion of the French country side outside of Paris to make some of the best selling wines and olive oils there were, it paid off in the end.

Arizona is quiet by nature, always has been, she watches people rather than talking to them, but it’s because she knows she can probably figure out more truth than lies if there’s no physical contact. She isn’t afraid of people, or even dislike them, she just doesn’t like getting lied to. Which is why she’s hesitant to grow close to anyone. But, when she does get close to someone, you’re stuck with her for life. She isn’t afraid to tell you something is wrong, and she will tell you something that you truly don’t want to hear, but, if it’s for your own good, she’ll tell you without a second look.
&&. Stick your head in the present and get it out of the past
Arizona hates dwelling on the past, she hates hers, so she likes to try to just live for the moment. As long as she has something to look forward to, she can be in the most perky mood, even at a party or something of the sort, she’ll be right there with her friends having a great time, but, if someone mentions something that hits too close to home, especially if they don’t know her past, thusly not realizing what they said, she locks herself in her head for a little bit, just trying to get out of her memories. The only part of her past that she’ll dwell on is that she thinks of her brother and sister a lot, during the summers, she writes to them, occasionally flies down to France just to meet them, even if it were in Paris, she just relies so much on her siblings, more than either of them realize.
Appearance:
Blonde hair and green eyes model themselves on Arizona's face. Bright green eyes facing out with a strange knowledge that tells you; don't try anything. But, her lazy smile just says; yes, my job is to keep my friends out of trouble. Standing at 5' 8", her height is mostly from her long legs, but, she is still tall in her torso. Her long blonde hair is about down to the small of her back, and she keeps it pulled back in either a braid or just letting it hang limp, depending on her mood. The tips, at times, are dyed red or blue, depending on her mood that week.
Her most common attire is simply jeans, whatever shirt she decides to pull out that day, her black converse, and a simple black hoodie, while her nails are almost always painted black, and a watch on her left wrist while random brown hair-ties on her right.
She has a few random scars on her arms and legs from all the time she spent running through the forest as a kid, and from some of the pranks that went...wrong during Highschool. Most of them aren't that visible, but, the most visible one is basically a hole on her leg from where she was thrown against a brick ledge and landed directly on the corner. She got to meet her tibia that day.

Background
The French country-side seemed to fold to fit the needs of the vineyard where Jace Cassaway looked over his little sister. She was two, he was five, they would spend their days running all through the forests that fenced in the property and help their father and mother with the vineyard. Arizona seemed to be everywhere at once, she would hang out in the forest during the mornings, just relaxing, and be in the vineyard during the day, and be right back in the forest by nightfall. She didn’t like being inside, it was just…strange. But Jace was always there with her, watching out for her.
Two months after Jace turned nine, their mother, Lynn, added a new member to the family, a little sister for Arizona, Kris. She was quiet, but, definitely fit into the family. But, it was the year that Kris was born, that their mother came down with some rare form of Leukemia, she was flown over seas to the states, but, she didn’t make it back. Jace and Arizona took it the hardest, but, Arizona tried to put on a smile for her father and brother, helping both of them make it through. But, whenever Jace and Arizona would be coming back from school, she would always zone out, into her own little world, so, and the first of Jace’s old jokes to return, was the nickname `Zona. He saw it as both a short of her name, and a fitting nickname due to her habit.
`Zona’s fifth grade summer, her father brought home a lady friend, or at least, that was all it started out as. She didn’t like kids, to say the least, but, she put on a fake smile for their father and by the first semester’s close, they had a new ‘mommy’. `Zona spent more and more time out in the forest, avoiding the house and the sneers from her step-mother, but Jace was forced to stay around the house or help their father. It was then that Arizona realized something was different about her, all the time she spent in the forest, she spent listening and observing. She noticed how she knew when some creature was getting closer to her, thinking about coming up to her, and soon, she could do the same with humans.
The same winter, she associated herself with a young family of foxes, the female fox was a beautiful red colour, pure russet, the father on the other hand was midnight black. She sat in the roots of a tree long enough that eventually, she would be greeted whenever she went near the forest by the glint of a fox eye. Occasionally, if she was in a particularly sour mood, the female fox would even come up and let her pet her.
`Zona put up with her father’s wife until she told him about her ‘ability’, she begged him not to tell Corin, but, he ended up telling her, for all their sakes. Corin, of course, over reacted, called her a freak, and set outrageous demands upon her. She had to be home and in her room by seven, if she was late, no dinner. Blah blah blah. Jace was furious, he demanded that their father do something, but, he just looked away and would make some comment about Jace needing to watch over Kris and Arizona. Jace was `Zona’s one strong hold.
When `Zona was in the eighth grade, she was late getting home one night, she’d been out in the vineyard and had lost track of time, Corin locked her in her room and threatened Jace that if he went near the door, he’d meet the same punishment. Arizona was actually afraid, not really for her safety, but for Kris’ and Jace’s. That night, Jace got into a fight with both Corin and their father. He threatened them both, saying that he would move out and take both Kris and `Zona with him. She could hear his shouts despite the fact that she was on another wing of their house and on another floor. She couldn’t stand it, she couldn’t stand listening to both, his screams, and the thoughts of the others. She didn’t like the knowledge that her father was trying to figure out a restraint method, and Corin was thinking about slamming a vase over his head.
She escaped. She slipped out of the window, down a vine and into the night, making sure that Jace saw her at least slightly. She ran into the forest on the farthest side of the vineyard, the one where the fox family lived. By the time she collapsed, she had yet to see the foxes, but at least the shouts had stopped. Jace found her crying, but, in her arms, she was holding a little baby fox, it’s fur russet, but with a black hue. She didn’t even turn around to know that it was Jace, she just fell into his hug. He told her that as long as she and Kris were here, he would be, no matter how old he got.
She wanted to thank Jace, tell him that she’d be here until Kris could move out, but, instead she told him that she wasn’t going to be around much longer. She had found a school, a highschool, known for their band and for accepting only students with special abilities. She fit into that easily. And, she just had to get her father to pay the check, it wouldn’t be that difficult, seeing as the school was free, she just needed the plane ticket to Texas.
Two months later, she was on her way to Proclivity Highschool, her little fox cub in a cat carrier on the seat next to her on the plane, her little nose sticking out between the bars, begging for a piece of fruit.
`Zona loved the school immediately, she was always writing Jace and Kris, just to check on them, but she had friends. Sky and Jamie. Her two best friends. Both in band, and Sky was the drum captain. Worked for her, seeing as she would soon become the Bass Drum DI. But, with her oboe and fox in hand, she settled into the routine of the life there, just hoping that she would get to see her siblings again, and get to visit her mother’s grave at least once more. She just had to find it first.
Highschool went by in a blur, hanging out with her two best friends during the school year and then being sent back to France, but every year, she would drag Sky back with her to spend at least most of the break with her. It was the one way that it was even possible to be around her family, her dad would just leaver her alone, and her step-mom couldn't find any excuse for wanting to nag on her and completely cut her off from her life. The year that Kris could be enrolled in highschool, Jace took her away to the US, and that was when even Arizona stopped coming home. But, during their senior year, they pulled the most bad ass senior prank, by shutting down the school security system and hacking into the CIA database off of the headmaster's computer and deleted their personal files while modifying the president of the united state's file just slightly. Don't worry, Sky made copies of the trio's files and replaced them within 24 hours...yes.
When she, Jamie, and Sky all got out of Highschool, they hung around for the summer, but then Sky went army, Jamie headed off to MIT to continue her engineering career and `zona went and lived with Jace for a little while. But one day while she was thinking of where to head to college, she finally heard from Sky again, she'd found out about a university in New Mexico, and she was heading there. Zona applied with her scholarship she'd gotten from Proclivity, and got accepted almost immediately, despite the late application.
Next thing she knew, she was sitting next to Sky in the dorms, just joking around again as they used to. Things were back to normal.
Role-Playing Sample:Why not? It'd be entertainin'...and none of us have anythin' better tuh do
The prep squad just attempted to make a pyramid, with lucky cheer captain on top. However, lets just say they where in a big pile of people cause they fell. With a soft laugh, she looked over at Sky, knowing that it was her who told Tuna and that Tuna translated it to her. Somedays, she felt like the odd man out, she was somewhere in the grey area, not really a Psyche, but not a Prime either...Tuna could read people's minds, and Sky knew where people were, but she fit in with the group somehow. Ha, one of these days it'd be funny to see the line verses the cheer squad, see who would win. Not that we don't already know the answer, but, it'd be cheap entertainment to say the least. She aimed it at both of her friends, it would be funny to watch.
I got a better idea. Let's get an off day tuhmarruh. 'Zona, you got your laptop with ya? I gotta plan. She heard her friend pause, and then continue. We can use Mrs. Treyanna's office too. With a nod, she turned to Tuna, I'm in! So what's the plan? And do we just skip or let the directors write us a pass to get an off day for..., `Zona was walking over to her bag, fox in tow, to fetch her computer, she always had it with her. Band reasons? She laughed and snagged her bag before walking over to Jamie. Tuna Tuna Tuna....oi....you actually think we still get the directors to sign those passes? It's been what, two years- She looked over at Sky, -since we actually had a director sign something? She patted Jamie's shoulder and slung her bookbag over her other shoulder before picking up her little fox. You said Treyanna's office, right? She laughed, holding the door open to the school with her foot.
